Artist Statement

I am an artist, business woman, real estate operator, alternative-asset investor, self-made, and in the 1%. I am a single mother (definitely not by choice), survivor, dog owner, cisgendered heterosexual woman of color, looking to move away from labels and reclaim my sovereignty in this world. My hope is that by dropping breadcrumbs from my journey, I will help others reclaim their sovereignty.

So what is Sovereignty?

Sovereignty is freedom in all aspects of one’s life. It is freedom from and freedom to. It is conscious relationships and conscious parenting. It is reclaiming my voice and my vessel. Sovereignty is living a life guided by the sound of my own heart beat. For me, sovereignty includes financial independence although that alone does not enough and it may not even be necessary. It is living according to my values and rejecting the systems of harm in society.

I use the Live Your Values Deck every once in a while to see if my values have shifted from the last time I did the exercise. In no particular order, my top 10 values as of March 2026 are: Vulnerability, Purpose, Beauty, Spirituality, Justice, Parenting, Honesty, Environment, Mindfulness, and Intuition.
